As a tradition neighboring ladies and friends get together for coffee made the Armenian way with Gata pastry. Once the coffee is done, everyone turns over the empty coffee cup (with the slush inside) into the saucer. After a few minutes the fortune reader tells each one her good fortune by observing the different coffee marks inside the cup.
